Bill Parkinson

Born in Lancaster, Lancashire in 1944. He has been a professional musician all his life - playing for people like Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey , Dusty Springfield and many others.

He has been drawing and painting all his life, but in the last twenty years he has been combining his music with a successful career in art, having many one-man exhibitions.

He is also a songwriter of repute having written many successful songs. His biggest hit the multi-million seller “Mother of Mine” recorded by Neil Reid and Jimmy Osmond .
